Project Information:
Location: Bangpoo Industrial Area, Samut Prakan Province, Thailand
Project Type: Factory rooftop solar
System Capacity: 1.20 MWp
Service Scope: Design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning
Commercial Model: EPC turnkey
Estimated Annual Generation: 1,740 MWh
Estimated CO2 Reduction: 860 tons per year
Status: Representative project draft
Project Overview:
Packaging factories usually have stable daytime energy use from printing, cutting, air compressors, HVAC, and material handling. This representative project in Samut Prakan is structured to help the plant reduce electricity expenses and improve sustainability credentials for brand customers.
The Challenge:
The roof contained skylights, ventilation equipment, and drainage routes, requiring a carefully segmented solar layout. Installation work also had to avoid affecting loading schedules and daily material movement.
Red Solar Solution:
Red Solar designed a 1.20 MWp rooftop solar system with roof-zone planning, string inverter grouping, safe DC cable routing, and practical service walkways. The solution balances generation output with long-term maintainability.
Project Highlights:
Suitable for packaging and printing factories
Roof layout avoids skylights and ventilation units
Installation sequence planned around factory operation
Helps reduce daytime grid demand
Supports customer ESG and supply chain audits
Project Result:
The system is expected to deliver around 1,740 MWh of solar energy per year and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 860 tons annually.
