Project Overview:

The Chuangli 500kW rooftop solar project is a distributed PV system developed on idle factory roof space in Thailand. By converting unused rooftop area into a productive clean energy asset, the project helps the customer reduce grid electricity consumption and turn daytime solar generation into stable economic value.

The Challenge:

The customer wanted to lower electricity expenses without changing normal factory operations. The project needed to make full use of available roof area, maintain roof safety and access, and deliver a practical return on investment within a reasonable payback period.

Red Solar Solution:

Red Solar Thailand developed a 500kW rooftop distributed PV system under a self-consumption model. The system was designed around the factory’s daytime load profile, using rooftop solar generation to offset grid electricity and improve the customer’s energy cost structure.
